Meet Our Dentist, Dr. Gene McCormick

Dr. McCormick graduated from San Bernardino Valley College with an A.A. Degree, Received a B.A. from San Diego State University Loma Linda University College of Dentistry.

He later attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine as a physician resident in General Anesthesia.

He attends 2-3 weeks of advanced education per year. He has spent over 400 hours at the Pankey Institute in Florida.

He has attended the McGarry Institute in Oklahoma City for a mini-residency in Dental Implants and Implant courses at the Oklahoma School of Dentistry & International Implant Congress as well as Dental Implant Courses at the Kois Institute. He graduates from the Kois Institute’s nine 3-day comprehensive courses at the Kois Institute in Seattle in April, 2010. The subject matter of the courses covered advanced Treatment Planning, Biomechanics, Restorative/Periodontal Interface, Functional Occlusion I and II.

He has studied under Joseph Massad in implant and removable dentures . He has studied at the Head, Neck & Facial Pain Clinic at the University of Florida.

Dr McCormick studies several hours weekly independently to remain current in all areas of dental therapy.

Most importantly, Dr. McCormick is married to his high school sweetheart of over 40 years, has 3 lovely children: One is a fellow dentist, one an I.T. Director, and one a patient-care coordinator at Dr. McCormick’s office.
